Pharmacy students of UITS visits City Foils Limited
On August 6, a group of B.Pharm students took part in a day-long factory visit to City Foils Limited at Savar, Dhaka under the direction of Md. Mehedi Hasan, Lecturer, Department of Pharmacy, University of Information Technology & Sciences (UITS), Baridhara campus. In the visit students explored the warehouse, engineering department, and production, quality control department under the supervision of Mr. Abdul Hye Siddiki and Mr. Md. Jahangir Hossain Director of City Foils Limited.
At present, around 80 employees are working in this organization. They are highly skilled and serve this organization with their best effort. Employees are working in a very good environment. Corporate culture and values are helping them to develop continuously. They have various types of foils manufacturing facilities.
Students spent the morning inside the warehouse where coloring agent and packaging are stored. In addition to that they observed the finished product store. Then the students observed the manufacturing processes. After the lunch break, students explored the ETP system. In the evening, a presentation on City Foils Limited was conducted by Mr.Abdul Hye Siddiki. “This factory visit gave the opportunity to observe and work with technical person and other factory personnel. UITS, Baridhara is committed to arrange practical experiences on how the foils are made. That is why plans are underway for the future 3-day study tour in reputed foils manufacturing facilities.” Says Md. Mehedi Hasan, Lecturer, UITS.

- Preparation, archival and destruction of SOP
