Senior Procurement Officer @SMC Enterprise Ltd.

POSITION TITLE: SENIOR PROCUREMENT OFFICER

RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent will undertake procurement and commercial related activities, and assist Supply Chain Management Department for on-time delivery of goods, works and services. In addition, the incumbent will also be responsible for the following activities:

• Float tender notice among the enlisted suppliers.
• Prepare tender documents for raw materials, packaging materials and others items.
• Take initiative for opening tender and complete all formalities and compliance issues.
• Send tender documents to concerned department for technical evaluation.
• Prepare procurement proposals, purchase/task order proactively
• Coordinate with factory and other internal departments for expediting procurement process
• Anticipate procurement of ongoing Business
• Anticipate commercial activities, prepare shipping documents and communicate with C&F agent for custom clearance and delivery
• Arrange renewal of all service agreements, contracts & certificates.
• Coordinate with suppliers and Central Warehouse for timely delivery of products and services

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Masters in any discipline. MBA in Supply Chain Management will get preference. B.Sc. Engineering/ B.Pharm degree holders are also encouraged to apply
• 02-05 years of relevant working experience. Candidates having experience in Pharmaceutical will be preferred
• 35 years of age, may be relaxed for the prospective candidate
• Should have good communication skills both in Bangla and English
• Excellent computer skills especially in MS Application suite
• Hard working and ability to work under pressure
