Position: HSE Officer/Executive (Quality Assurance)
Job Location: Corporate Office, Tejgaon-Gulshan Link Road, Dhaka
Position Summary:
The incumbent will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, communication and coordination of all health, safety and environment programs for the organization. This position will develop and provide technical and administrative direction on all HSE decisions, which bear critical importance to overall business.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, development and implementation of effective HSE policies, guidelines and procedures in line with ISO 18001, GMP and Client requirements
- Provide support to other Operations and other department in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety and environmental issues
- Ensuring HSE compliance throughout the organization and perform regular HSE audits
- Assist with developing HSE plans that comply with Company policies and procedures as well as client requirements
- Ensure training, meetings, and drills are implemented as part of the company’s training and HSE program, i.e. emergency response systems, etc
- Investigate and complete the process for close out of all Accident Investigation Reports and prepare/submit lessons learned
- Assist in the development of project specific HSE procedures
- Conduct HSE orientation to all new employees and regular training to all employees
- Ensure all worksites are HSE compliant with Company policies and safety standards
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor degree from a recognized University
- 2/3 years experience in HSE (ISO 18001) implementation and assessment. Experience in QMS will add value
Additional Job Requirements:
- Proved (IRCA Certification) skill on ISO 18001
- Proved internal Audit (ISO 18001, ISO 9001) skill
- Strong planning, development and implementation ability
- Good command over English and MS Office specially in MS Excel is critical
- Good communication skill
